No events of Naval Defense are ever required to attend. Real life is always first. That being said, all members of Naval Defense must comply with the minimum set of rules listed below:
You must log EVERY CHARACTER you have in into the game at least once every 30 days.
You must be signed up for the Navy Discord and the Coalition Discord.
You must train towards and stock all ships listed Required Ships, eventually completing ALL of the steps required for Graduation.
Although it is required for you to complete all of these steps, you receive a lot of rewards for completing each step!
When online, YOU MUST:
This is for your safety, so you can read intel, be saved if you are attacked, and generally know what is happening in game.
Although not specifically required to be in Discord voice at all times, you must be willing to join Discord voice for fleets and classes you wish to attend. You never have to talk, but you must at least have the ability to hear fleet commands or listen into classes.
IT IS HIGHLY ENCOURAGED that you join one of our Discord voice channels while you are online. You do NOT have to be actively listening to random conversations at all times while in-game--you can remain in "AFK/Quiet Room" if you want to just be quiet and not have to listen.
You must set your death clone to our home base.
You are required to abide by the EULA, TOS, and Policies of EVE Online. Anything that violates the game rules will be reported to CCP, the game developers.
The below set of rules only apply to members of Naval Defence Force (so once you graduate from the Naval Defence Academy).
You must do one of the below things once every month to retain membership in Navy:
If you are in NLDF, you must have an alt-hauler or a toon that you sit in a market hub. Additionally, you must limit hisec exposure to incursions and other specific purposes. If you need to buy or haul anything, use your alt-hauler to do so.
We have three kinds of disciplinary actions: "Immediate Removal", "One-Strike", and "30 Day Probation".
If you do not log into the game at least once every 30 days or if you are found to be a spy, there is no probationary period. You will simply be removed and an in-game email will be sent to you as to why, along with instructions on how to rejoin when you return to the game.
If you break the EULA, TOS, Policies of EVE Online, or if you make any derogatory slur, personal attacks, or threats, you will be afforded "one strike". We will communicate to you that this was your only chance and that you are on permanent notice. If you do not alter your behavior after that strike is given, you will be summarily removed.
If you are found not to join standing fleet, the in-game channels, or aren't on the voice channels while playing the game, or if you aren't in our Discord, we will attempt to reach out to you and give you a friendly reminder to please join all of the above. If you do not alter course or respond to our attempts to communicate with you, you will be informed that you are placed on a 30 probationary period. If, after that 30 day period is over and you still have not joined the above services, you will be removed.
