Naval Defence is comprised of two alliances, Naval Defence Alliance [NAVY] and Naval Defence Institute [NAVY.].
NAVY holds Naval Defence Force [NLDF], other corporations, and Naval Defence Holdings [NLDH].
NLDF and the other corporations in the alliance are for experienced players and graduates of Naval Defence Academy.
NLDH is a holding corporation for the assets of Naval Defence.
NAVY. holds Naval Defence Academy [NLDA] and Naval Defence Operations [NLDO]. It is hisec wardec immune.
NLDA is an academy-corporation that teaches EVE to new players and allows casual players a place to learn from more experienced players at their own pace. Graduates from NLDA then join NLDF or one of the other corporations.
NLDO is an alt-hauler corporation for members of Naval Defence so that they can transit through hisec safely.

¶ Command Team
The Command Team includes the Commanding Officer (CO) and Executive Officer (XO), who are responsible for managing the officers and all of the departments to make sure that they are running smoothly.
¶ Commanding Officer (William Karant)
The Commanding Officer is on the Board of Directors, sets policy for the organization, sets the benchmarks for the various goals, and is the primary leader for the organization.
The Executive Officer is responsible for the day-to-day administration of the player base, ensuring that players are responding to threats, upholding the organization's rules, and handling any potential conflicts that arise.
The first and second in command of each member corporation is also tagged as a Corporation Executive, allowing them access to the Leadership channel and the right to be consulted and notified of important decisions to be made by Command.
The Academic Department runs all classes, ranking up students, tracking player deaths and teaching students how to avoid death in the future.
On Board of Directors and is responsible for holding regular classes and for our player base learning the game, progressing towards graduation, and dying less.
- Deputy Chief of Training - Responsible for the Training and Killboard Managers
- Deputy Chief of Advancement - Manages the Graduation and New Member Managers
- Graduation Manager - Ensures that pilots are promoted and graduated timely and are given the rewards
- Killboard Manager - Ensures that every pilot who dies in a preventable manner is reached out to about their death and how to prevent it
- New Member Manager - Is responsible for reaching out to all of the new players and maintaining player retention
- Training Manager - Sets the schedule of classes
- Academic Officer - Either teaches at least one class per month OR helps with at least one promotion/graduation or killboard per week
The Acquisitions Department runs the staging market, alliance contracts, and the buyback program.
On Board of Directors and is responsible for overseeing the smooth operation of all Acquisitions programs.
- Deputy Chief of Reserves (SushiAndSushi) - Responsible for the Asset and Contract Managers
- Deputy Chief of Procurements (crZakalwe) - Responsible for the Buyback, Courier, and Market Managers
- Asset Manager - Manages Navy's reserves of all ships, ammo, modules, and other items
- Buyback Manager - Manages the accepting, hauling, and selling of items for the buyback program
- Contract Manager - Manages the stocking of fully-fitted ships available for sale on corporation contracts
- Courier Manager - Manages the haulers and ensures that all courier contracts are timely completed
- Market Manager - Publishes a monthly list of what items are needed at the staging market
- Acquisitions Officer - Assists in one of the Acquisitions programs on a weekly basis
- Hauler Pilots - Has a jump freighter and/or DST and assists in the Courier Program
- Junior Hauler Pilots - Has a industrial ship and assists in hisec hauling for the Courier Program
The Defence Department organizes content and provides for a relaxed, small-gang environment for the alliance.
On Board of Directors and is responsible for ensuring Commanders and Officers are meeting their minimum fleet requirements.
- Deputy Chief of Content (Jarka Ruus) - Responsible for creating small gang fights
- Deputy Chief of Deployment (Ayelle Detonier and Raddan Eldre'Thalas) - Responsible for creating offensive timers
- Defence Commander - Responsible for leading at least one pinged fleet per month, using any doctrine
- Defence Officer - Regularly helps with content creation and PVP fleet activity
The Diplomatic Department handles diplomatic issues, manages our intel, our technology, and oversees the retention of current players and the probation policies.
On Board of Directors and responsible for the smooth operation of all Diplomatic Managers, ensuring that intel is gathered, the membership is regularly audited, and that our technology is updated as needed.
- Deputy Chief of Relations - Responsible for external communications
- Deputy Chief of Espionage - Responsible for the Audit, Intelligence, and Reconnaissance Managers
- Audit Manager - Audits members for spies, inactivity, and violation of rules & policies
- Intelligence Manager - Manages Navy's spy network
- Reconnaissance Manager - Manages Navy's bookmarks and scouts
- Technology Manager - Responsible for Navy's SEAT, Wiki, and Discord
- Diplomatic Officer - Trusted to represent Navy in diplomatic issues
- Spy - Has an active alt in at least one enemy alliance
The Manufacturing Department organizes the production of planetary industry produces and the mining of ice to create fuel blocks for our structures, creates hulls for the Acquisitions Department, sets, schedules, and mines out Navy's moons, and reacts the moon mining products to sell on the market.
On Board of Directors and responsible for the fueling of structures, the building of hulls for the Acquisitions' Department, the mining of moon ore, ice, and hisec ore, and the selling of reacted moon mining product.
- Deputy Chief of Manufacturing (Surgical Slinky) - Responsible for the Fuel and Production Managers
- Deputy Chief of Mining (OGBrimmstone) - Responsible for the Belt Mining, Ice Mining, Moon Mining, and Moon Payout Managers
- Fuel Manager (Jonagin) - Manages the creation of fuel blocks and the distribution of fuel blocks to structures
- Production Manager (Guilhelm Blake) - Manages the creation of T1 ship hulls for selling to the Acquisitions' Department
- Belt Mining Manager - Ensures that at least one ice fleet is run per week
- Ice Mining Manager - Ensures that at least one ice fleet is run per week
- Moon Mining Manager - Oversees the firing of the alliance moons on the established schedule and ensures that they are mined out
- Moon Payout Manager - Manages the collection, payouts, reprocessing, transit, and sale of all moon ore
- Manufacturing Officer - Assists with the creation, transit, or sale of corp fuel blocks or T1 products
- Mining Officer - Leads at least one ice, moon, or belt ore mining fleet per month
- Industry Pilot - Helps with some part of the Industry Department
The Recruiting Department recruits and orients all new players into Navy.
On Board of Directors and responsible for the regular influx of new members into Navy.
- Deputy Chief of European Recruiting - Ensures that there are a certain number of European recruits each week
- Deputy Chief of North American Recruiting - Ensures that there are a certain number of North American recruits each week
- Deputy Chief of Oceanic Recruiting (Ornotes Audier) - Ensures that there are a certain number of Oceanic recruits each week
- Amarr Recruiting Manager - Ensures that all Amarr career agent systems are recruited at least once per week
- Caldari Recruiting Manager - Ensures that all Caldari career agent systems are recruited at least once per week
- Gallante Recruiting Manager - Ensures that all Gallente career agent systems are recruited at least once per week
- Minmatar Recruiting Manager - Ensures that all Minmatar career agent systems are recruited at least once per week
- Recruiting Officer - Recruits at least one new member per week
